Slate Chicken Hut

This unusual slate chicken shed was handbuilt for one of our customers.

Built with a pressure treated 50x75mm framework and finished in featheredge cladding. The geometric design gives this chicken hut a unique look, making a striking addition to any garden.

Finished in Sadolin Superdec in Volcanic Ash to complement the colour of the natural black slate and rolled lead edging, this slate chicken hut combines beauty and function, the louvre style ventilation panels can be regulated with the use of shutters to help keep the interior fresh and the full height makes this chicken hut easy to clean and maintain.

The interior holds comfortable nesting boxes and low height roosting bars. The nesting boxes can be accessed from within or from a access hatch on the outside. The entry hatch is opened and closed by way of a pulley system for ease of use.
