Five Common Questions Asked By Our Customers
(1) Do our benches require self assembly?
No, none of our benches require self assembly, because every component is fully jointed for maximum strength and then fully assembled in our workshop in Bampton, Devon.
(2) Is our timber FSC rated?
The Wooden Workshop only purchases timber from registered FSC sawmills.
(3) Can bespoke sizes be constructed for the memorial benches?
Bespoke sizes are accommodated as the bench is made to order from scratch.
(4) Are you able to supply the complete service – any groundworks, or securing of the bench?
The Wooden Workshop will undertake ground works such as slabs, concrete plinths or a timber deck etc. Stainless steel fixings are also available to fix the bench and we are happy to help with this.
(5) Are you able to include a logo on to the bench?
Not a problem, a local very talented artist hand draws all the designs onto the bench, the customer is then supplied with an image prior to engraving to ensure everything is just right. Therefore we can include all sorts of images, logos and text in many different fonts.
