Surplus Materials

At The Wooden Workshop we are trying to limit our waste and what is ending up going in the skip and quite often we end up with left over materials we are unable to use on jobs from previous constructions.

We have decided to start making up small bundles of these materials for any DIY enthusiasts or hobby builders and selling them at a reduced cost. By doing this we are doing our bit for the environment as well hopefully helping out any local people who only need a small amount of building materials and do not want to purchase large quantities from building merchants.

Materials we often have left over and this is to name just a few:

• Part rolls of breathable vapour membranes
• Bricks
• Off cuts of hardwoods
• Part sheets of ply-wood
• Tin roof sheets
• Onduline roofing sheets
• Off cuts of Insulation – these are often irregular in shape and are not part cut full boards
• Spare windows
• Panes of glass

All of our surplus stock will be collection only from our workshop in Bampton – EX16 9NG.

We will advertise on here and on social media as and when things become available and the long term goal is we are aiming to donate a % of the money raised from selling this surplus stock to a chosen charity – yet to be decided. Hopefully by doing this we are doing our bit for the environment as well as supporting a local charity.
