Waterfront Decking

This waterfront decking area was a recent build from our workshop.

Created using 100mm x 100mm pressure treated post framework, using post shoes and concrete for complete stability and strength. The area was covered with a weed proof membrane before the framework was created. The frame itself was built using 150 mm x 45mm, C24 grade floor joists and Galvanised joist hangers.

The deck itself was created using marine grade Yellow Balau decking boards. All cross cut edges were resealed and all fixings and fittings are stainless steel preventing corrosion and any discolouration of the wood.

The safety rails and newel posts are also made from marine grade Yellow Balau. This deck was built to meet building regulation requirements.
