Our dog kennel block & puppy run is suitable to house dogs and puppies. It consists of three main kennels, store room and a puppy exercise yard

- Each bedding area – 1500mm x 1200mm with 1500mm x 2000mm runsI
Ground work was completed for this project which, included screeding over existing floor to make level. We installed drainage channels and laid courses of brick including DPC to keep all timbers off the floor. Generally we can undertake most grounds work that needs doing.
This kennel block & puppy run was built on site.
Specifications
- 45mm x 95mm C16 / 24 pressure treated timber – stud work timbers, stable doors for the kennels including the door frames
- Pressure treated shiplap for the cladding
- Fully insulated kennels (walls, floor and roof)
- Lined with OSB grade 3 sterling board this offered a good stable backing for supporting the 3mm washable parlour board lining (white gloss finish)
- Hand made runs by a local fabrication company which have been upgraded using 40mm box section and 21.3mm vertical bar set at 53mm spacing, all hot dipped galvanised.
- All runs include marine approved locks with keeps and stainless steel handles.

- The store rooms were lined with a 9mm Far Eastern ply-board and had a double casement window with 4mm toughened glass.
- The overall build had x6 roof lights and we used corrugated black plastisol tin on the roof
- All of our doors and windows are made from a Scandinavian redwood and constructed in a bench joinery fashion and they are all constructed by us in our workshop

All our kennels have been ‘PURDEY’ approved – (Purdey is a huge part of the workshop team when not too busy having a snooze in the sunshine but she does have a habit of running off with bits of timber)
