Winter storage and preparation

Now the days are getting shorter and the Autumn weather is definitely making itself at home, it’s a good time to get your garden organised and ready for the winter ahead.

Harsh weather is the enemy of most wooden products and they need to be protected to ensure they keep their beauty and last a long time.

Many timbers are pressure treated to protect against rot and water damage, all of our softwoods are protected in this way and all cross cut timbers are sealed to ensure a weatherproof finish.

Winter can bring up a range of storage problems, from fabric furnishings and play equipment to winter fuel or recycling boxes.
