Secret Doorway

We created this beautiful dresser style shelving unit to double as a secret doorway. Each of the shelves is finished with an attractive carved edge to prevent the contents moving while the door is in use and the base of the shelving unit has an integrated boot rack. This door was built from joinery grade redwood, and finished in a clean, high gloss white.

The rear of the doorway leads into a bathroom area. This secret door was created using a hinged full length mirrored panel in an oak frame.

Built using character grade Oak, the mirror frame was treated with pure Tung oil to protect and enhance the wood.
